Nice M38 gas mask canister that was repainted during the war with a greener camouflage paint.
Inside the lid is a name label marked "SS Division Funsberg," although this should actually read "Frundsberg." I believe this is simply a spelling error. In any case, the paper is old and does not fluoresce under UV light.
Apart from that, the canister is in good condition and is complete with all of its straps and spare lenses.
