Beautiful pioneer assault pack made from surplus materials. The straps are constructed from webbing and captured Italian leather. The inside of the front pouch is waterproof.
I believe this pack was never completed before the end of the war and has remained well preserved ever since. It also lacks the side pouches for K98 stripper clips, and there is no indication that they were ever fitted.
