our story
John's Militaria was born from a passion for military history. As a small collector, I, John Postel, started buying interesting militaria. As my collection started to pile up, I also started selling parts, creating an interesting interplay of buying and selling. I've come to appreciate the trade, but especially the people who are interested in it, so I officially launched this webshop in 2025. Before that, I'd already been exhibiting at militaria fairs, and it's fantastic to be able to combine the two!
The world of militaria is a close-knit community, so I'd like to point you to other great websites full of other militaria for enthusiasts. Together we stand strong!

At John's Militaria, we wish to make it clear that the military and historical objects offered by us – particularly pieces from the National Socialist period – are intended exclusively for serious collectors, scholarly and art-historical research, studies of uniformology and military history, and documentation of the events of that time. Any form of use, support, or association with illegal, extremist, or ideological purposes is completely rejected by us and is in no way supported.
