About this medal:
The Anschluss Medal was an award of Nazi Germany. The award, a commemorative medal, was instituted by Adolf Hitler on October 18, 1938, following the annexation of the Sudetenland, which he enforced through threats of force.

The medal was awarded to Germans who were involved in the incorporation of the Sudetenland, the territory annexed by Germany in 1938 following the Munich Agreement. It was intended as recognition of the so-called “reunification” of the Sudetenland with the German Reich.
