Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). The Iron Cross was reinstated by Adolf Hitler on September 1, 1939 (first awarded in 1813). It was awarded when a soldier had distinguished himself, usually in individual action. The cross is three-part as it should be and has an iron core. The cross is not visibly maker marked. The cross is complete with its original ribbon. Beautiful original cross in good used condition!
