'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber'. The Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in silver was instituted on December 20, 1939, by Walther von Brauchitsch and was awarded to all non-motorized Infantry and Mountain Troops that participated in three different attacks on three different days. The medal is made of fine zinc and has lost most of its original silver finish. The pin and hook are complete and functional. The medal is not visibly maker-marked but can be attributed to production by the firm Paul Meybauer of Berlin. Beautiful original medal in good used condition!
