WH (Heer) M44 field blouse (Feldbluse). This field blouse from the late war period is made of a field-grey/brown wool/rayon blend and features two pockets with straight flaps and field-grey finished, granulated metal buttons. The blouse fastens with six buttons at the front, also of the same type. A machine-applied, woven breast eagle in M44 style, made of BeVo fabric, is attached to the field blouse. Two collar pins are machine-sewn to the collar. These collar pins have the standard green color of the army unit. The various army units within the German army had a specific identification color ('Waffenfarbe') which was generally displayed on the collar pins. An exception to this were the general service collar pins (Einheitskragenspiegel) for enlisted men and non-commissioned officers, which did not have an army unit color and could therefore be worn by personnel of all army units. The shoulder patches have loops and buttons. The inside is largely unlined, with brown/grey rayon reinforcement at the seams and for the two inner pockets. The tunic is neatly marked with RB.Nr. and dated 1944 (E44). The lower part of the tunic appears to have been altered, possibly slightly shortened; see photos for more details. A beautiful original M44 field blouse from the late war period; the price is adjusted accordingly due to the reapplied insignia!
