A rare M34 steel helmet, in this case a Dutch helmet that was reissued for second-rank troops, specifically for the Dutch section of the Technische Hulpdienst (Technische Nothilfe). The helmet's front plate has been removed and the helmet has been painted black with two emblems on each side. The interior shows some wear and was greased at some point. The chin strap is missing the short piece, but the long piece is present.
