A rare M34 steel helmet, in this case a Dutch helmet reissued for second-rank troops, specifically for the Dutch branch of the Technical Assistance Service (Technische Nothilfe). The helmet's forend has been removed and painted black with two emblems on each side. The liner has suffered some wear and was once greased. The chinstrap is missing the short end; the long end is present.
