WH (Heer) M35 Map Case (Meldekartentasche M35). Map cases were used by special personnel such as messengers, observation personnel, and executives. The M35 map case was based on the Reichsheer model from the Weimar period with some minor modifications. Various accessories were issued and used with the M35 map case, such as pencils, rulers, trigonometry, erasers, etc. The interior is divided into two compartments by a central leather panel. The bag still bears the wearer's name and field post number on the inside.
