This is a beautiful original Luftwaffe 'nachrichten' enlisted/non-commissioned officer 'Schirmmütze'. Schirmmützes were a standard headgear for all armed personnel during the Third Reich. Enlisted personnel were issued Schirmmützes by military suppliers, but it was also permitted to purchase a Schirmmütze privately. This is a military-issued Schirmmütze. The cap is complete with its original aluminum cockade and cap eagle. The cap is in very good condition with minimal signs of storage.
