Officially designated the Pocket, Magazine, Double, Web, For Carbine, Caliber .30, M-1, this original US WW2 ammunition pouch was intended for use with the M1 and M1A1 Carbine. The pouch features the typical olive drab web construction with a clearly printed “U.S.” marking on the front.
The reverse is clearly maker marked “AVERY. 1945”. These pouches were designed to carry two 15-round M1 Carbine magazines and could be worn on the equipment belt or slipped over the stock of the carbine.
We obtained a small batch of 25 identical examples, all preserved in exceptional mint, unused New Old Stock condition. They show virtually no signs of use and retain their strong original color, markings, stitching and hardware. When ordering, you will receive one of these seven pouches, all being comparable in condition to the example pictured.
