Waffen-SS Coat (Wachmantel). The coat was part of every soldier's standard equipment. It could be worn in cold weather or rain, and in all other conceivable situations. This heavy-quality coat is made of standard field-grey wool uniform fabric and is fully lined with black wool. This is a typical SS-model coat without the French-style rolled-up sleeves found on Wehrmacht coats. The coat features two rows of 6 buttons and a metal hook and eye closure at the neck. The coat is not visibly maker-marked; it is a large size. The coat is complete with its original hand-sewn RZM-type machine-embroidered SS sleeve eagle.
