The ZF41 riflescope with 1.5x magnification was designed for use with the K98 carbine and was first produced in large numbers in 1941, along with a metal carrying case. The scope is neatly marked "cxn," indicating production by the company "Emil Busch AG" from Rathenow. The mount is marked "duv," and all ZF41 mounts are marked with this inspection code. The set is complete with the original, slightly rusted, field gray painted metal carrying case. The case is marked "jvb," indicating production by the company "Wessel & Müller" from Lückenwalde.
